Jobs before formats

A focus group, a red-team and a prototype test are not the strategy. They are moves inside a job the buyer actually has.

Practice

Teams rarely wake up wanting a method. They want to know whether the pricing will land, whether the positioning makes sense, whether a prototype feels credible, or why churn is happening.

That is why Sonaloop starts with Jobs. The Job names the business question. Frameworks define the shape of the run. Formats are the moves the run reaches for.

  • A Job is what the buyer asks for: positioning, pricing, demand, churn, ideation, discovery.
  • A Framework is the process shape: Double Diamond, d.school Micro-Cycle, Lean/JTBD.
  • A Format is one move: council, prototype test, head-to-head, red-team.

Putting formats first makes the site sound like a menu of research tricks. Putting Jobs first makes it clear what Sonaloop is for, while still showing the rigor underneath.
