Pricing research is pressure, not preference

Asking what someone likes to pay is weak. Pricing research gets useful when it exposes budget, trust, urgency and perceived risk.

Practice

Pricing questions get weak when they ask for preference in isolation. A buyer can say a number feels reasonable without having to trade it against budget, urgency or a competing priority.

A better pricing session creates pressure. It asks what the buyer would cut, what proof would justify the spend, who would block the purchase and when the pain becomes expensive enough to act.

Sonaloop can run that pressure through multiple personas at once: finance, buyer, user, champion and skeptic. The useful answer is not a magic price. It is the set of conditions under which the price becomes believable.
