Connect · MCP

Sonaloop in Cursor.

Wire the council into Cursor’s agent. Add one server block to your MCP config and Cursor can convene synthetic customers, run councils and read back the synthesis — right beside your code.

~/.cursor/mcp.json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "sonaloop": { "url": "https://api.sonaloop.com/mcp" }
  }
}

Runs locally on your own AI agent — your data stays in the room.

01Set up Cursor

About a minute, start to finish.

01

Open your MCP config

Settings → MCP → Add new server, or edit ~/.cursor/mcp.json directly.

02

Add the sonaloop server

Paste the block. If you already have other servers, add sonaloop alongside them under mcpServers.

03

Reload & run a council

Reload Cursor; sonaloop appears in the MCP list. Ask the agent to pressure-test your idea.

02Before you start

What you need.

  • Cursor with MCP enabled (Settings → MCP).
  • No API key required to run councils.

The config

~/.cursor/mcp.json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "sonaloop": { "url": "https://api.sonaloop.com/mcp" }
  }
}

03Use a different agent?

Sonaloop runs here too.

Connected? Two good next moves.

Pick a plan, or watch a council take an idea apart.
